Crowd-pleasing, four-by-four-meter floor exhibit with approximately 150 entries; colors ranging from whites on the left to brilliant yellows, yielding to reds and purples and pinks on the right. Central focus an Oncidium sphacelatum placed high on a garden gate, featured trophies for Best Dendrobium Alliance flower (D. thyrsiflorum), Best Cattleya (Plum Love), Best Cypripedium (Phrag. Sorcerers’ Apprentice), Best Large Miscellaneous (Catasetum); Best-Grown trophies in four classes: Oncidium [the same], Dendrobium [D. aphyllum], Miscellaneous [Eulophia adamensis], Cypripedium [the same Phrag.], and Vanda. Also awarded the Orchid Digest Trophy.
