May 7 Meeting

At our Thursday, May 7, meeting Blake Kruse of Timbucktoo Orchids will give a presentation on Greenhouse Culture and Construction.

Just built yourself a greenhouse and want tips on orchid culture inside a greenhouse? Need some help getting your growing space in tip-top shape? This month, all of those questions will be answered!

Blake Kruse is a horticulturist and orchid enthusiast who has grown plants (orchids and beyond) at the hobby, commercial, and institutional levels. He is an accredited American Orchid Society judge and grows plants both indoors, in the greenhouse, and under shaded patios. He is employed as a horticulturist at Botanica, the Wichita Gardens; as well as a partner in Timbucktoo Orchids, raising the weird and wonderful species and doing breeding work in the Maxillaria, Lycaste, and Bulbophyllum groups.
