Awards Granted by Houston Judging Center in April 2025

The Houston Judging Center had a great day on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Seventeen judges were present including three from the Alamo Judging Center. Twenty plants were submitted for judging of which four were awarded:

Stephen Moffitt presented a Catasetum Ten Dragons, awarded an AM 84. This plant received a previous HCC award.
Stephen Moffitt also brought a striking Catasetum Daniel Antich, awarded with an AM 87. The color of this flower was amazing—a dark green back and rich cherry black front.
Greg Scott presented a Paravanda Athena Von Fox, which was awarded a Judges Commendation for presentation and intergeneric cross.
Stephen Gallagher presented a multifloral Paphiopedilum Yang-Ji Hawk, awarded an AM 84.
