On October 21, after our usual education session and general information meeting, we paused at 11:30 for the HOS picnic and orchid auction, a delightful (and profitable!) couple of hours. Then our three teams got to work on the three entries for judging and… we awarded all three! It was an exciting afternoon for all of us.
The result of the live auction really helps us, and I am most grateful to all the HOS members who participated. If you would like to be part of this fun and highly useful service to the orchid community, please let me know!
All the awarded plants are owned by Stephen Moffitt—three awards in one day. Hurrah!
