At the monthly judging on March 18, we had five entries and gave three awards. Two of these came to Bryan Wu, his first awards ever. As you may know he comes from China and had an exhibit and sales booth (Wuhoo!) at the HOS Show.

Twenty-five stellate semi-alba flowers and three buds on five branched inflorescences to 21.0 cm and one additional immature inflorescence on a single growth 46.0-cm diameter plant, seven oblanceolate leaves, grown in bark in a 11-cm clear pot; sepals and petals brilliant white; lip trilobed, white, side lobes erect, golden yellow centrally, midlobe magenta basely, superior side pilous distally; column white; substance firm; texture waxy; fragrance pleasant; this plant also received a quality award 20234110.

Four stately, well-presented flowers on an erect 59.5-cm inflorescence; sepals chartreuse, richly striped ox-blood; petals long, broad-shouldered, down-swept, chartreuse, spotted ox-blood, coalesced apically, margin hirsute, ox-blood; pouch horizontal, chartreuse, overlaid cordovan; staminode chartreuse, overlaid cordovan, laterally pubescent ox-blood; substance firm; texture glossy.
