This Workshop will address timely topics and much more in a series of lectures and breakout sessions. Mark your calendar now, and send your registration to attend this extraordinary weekend dedicated to orchids. Street parking is free. Covered parking garage next to Crooker is EXACT CHANGE $2.00. Hotel list will be provided upon enquiry. 

Whether you are a novice, intermediate or advanced grower, here is why the Workshop is a must:

    Come and hear the lectures:

·         Peter T. Lin from Diamond Bar, California will present “Wild, Weird, and Wonderful Orchids, A Portrait of Orchid oddities!”

·         Lena Parker from Shreveport, Louisiana will present “Easy to Grow Orchid Species”

·         Michael Sinn of Canaima Orchids in Palmetto, Florida will present  "Venezuelan Cattleya species in their Habitat"

   Plus your Choice of Breakout Sessions:

·                  ·         Peter T. Lin - Growing Dendrobiums

·         Lena Parker – Species growing specifics

·         Michael Sinn - Growing Cattleyas

·         To be announced – Chose your own topic (chosen during the workshop by the participants)

·         Fr. Ted Baenziger – Growing OUSIDE and inside, without a greenhouse

·         To be announced – growing indoors

You will see a myriad of colors and much more in our orchid display area as well as in vendor’s booths. Everyone attending the Workshop is invited to enter plants for AOS judging. Plant entry is on Friday, with judging to take place starting at 6:00 PM.        

    Attend the Preview Reception Friday Night and Silent Auction of Orchid Items:

Attend the Friday evening reception and have the first opportunity to meet our speakers and to purchase plants. Mingle with all the participants in a festive atmosphere with Hors d' Oeuvres, bid on a variety of Silent Auction items generously donated by local orchid enthusiasts and vendors.  Then enjoy dinner at any of many nearby fine restaurants.
